Ant Control
A trail across the counter usually leads back outside. Treating the trail alone just brings them back.
Signs you've got them
- Ant trails along counters, baseboards or windowsills
- Ants around pet food, sugar or the trash
- Small piles of soil along the foundation or in cracks in the driveway
- Winged ants indoors in spring

How we handle it
We find where the ants are coming in and treat the entry points and the outside of your home, along with inside where they're trailing.
Ants share food with the colony, so treatment works its way back to the nest. That takes a few days, and you may see ants for a short while.
Before we arrive
Hold off on spraying store-bought products on the trail before we come. It scatters the ants and makes the trail harder to follow. Wipe up crumbs and sticky spots, and seal sugary foods.
Carpenter ants
Large black ants inside the house can mean carpenter ants nesting in damp wood. If you're seeing big black ants, or sawdust-like piles near wood, tell us when you call.
The 30-day window. If undue activity continues in the treated/offending area within 30 days of service, one touch-up to that area may be provided.
Questions about ants
Why am I still seeing ants after treatment?
It takes a few days for treatment to reach the colony. Seeing some ants in that time is normal.
Should I spray the ants myself?
Not right before treatment. Store-bought sprays can scatter the colony and make it harder to control.
Do ants come back every year?
Often, yes, especially in spring. Regular service keeps them outside.
