How we handle it

We treat the places mosquitoes rest and ticks wait: shrubs, shady areas, under decks, along fence lines and the edges of tall grass.

We'll also point out standing water where mosquitoes are breeding, because emptying it is a big part of keeping them down.

Before we arrive

Let us know where the kids and pets spend time outside, and keep them inside until treated areas are dry. Unlock gates so we can reach the whole yard.

Help it last

Dump standing water weekly, keep grass mowed, and clear brush and leaf piles. Check pets and kids for ticks after time outside. Talk to your vet about tick protection for your pets.

The 30-day window. If undue activity continues in the treated/offending area within 30 days of service, one touch-up to that area may be provided.

Questions about mosquitoes and ticks

How long does treatment last?

It depends on weather and season. Heavy rain and summer heat wear it down faster, so regular treatments through the warm months work best.

When is mosquito season in Wichita?

Mostly late spring through early fall, peaking in the hottest, wettest stretches.

Do you treat ticks on pets?

No, we treat the yard. Talk to your vet about tick protection for your pets.
