Cockroach Combat
German roaches in the kitchen, American roaches wandering in from outside. Either way, it's handled with a plan.
Signs you've got them
- Roaches running when you turn on a light, especially in the kitchen or bathroom
- Small dark droppings that look like pepper or coffee grounds in drawers and cabinets
- Egg cases behind appliances or under sinks
- A musty, oily smell in cabinets
- Seeing one in daylight, which usually means there are many more hiding

How we handle it
We start by finding where they're living: behind the fridge and stove, under sinks, inside cabinet hinges, and around plumbing. Treatment goes where roaches hide and travel, not just where you've seen them.
German roaches breed fast, so we'll tell you what to expect in the weeks after treatment and when activity should drop off. American roaches usually come from outside, so we'll also point out where they're getting in.
Before we arrive
We'll text you a prep list before the visit. Usually it means clearing out under the kitchen and bathroom sinks, wiping up grease and crumbs, and putting food in sealed containers.
Let us know about pets, aquariums, and anyone in the home with health concerns so we can plan around them.
Apartments and shared walls
In multi-unit buildings, roaches move between units through walls and plumbing. If you rent, let your landlord know. Landlords and property managers can see our landlord service for coordinating multiple units.
The 30-day window. If undue activity continues in the treated/offending area within 30 days of service, one touch-up to that area may be provided.
Questions about cockroaches
How long until the roaches are gone?
Many people see a big drop within the first couple of weeks. You may see more roaches briefly right after treatment as they come out of hiding. Heavy German roach infestations can take longer, and we'll be straight with you about it.
Is one treatment enough?
Sometimes, but not always. Roach eggs are protected inside their cases, so some infestations need a follow-up. We'll tell you after the first visit.
Can I stay home during treatment?
In most cases, yes. We'll go over any specifics for your home and pets when we confirm the visit.
