How we handle it
We treat the outside perimeter, eaves and entry points, and inside where spiders hide: basements, garages, closets and corners. We knock down webs we can reach.
Because spiders eat other bugs, cutting down the overall bug population is part of the job.
Before we arrive
Reduce clutter in storage areas where you can, and let us know where you've been seeing spiders. If you think you've seen a brown recluse, tell us where.
Brown recluse in Kansas
Brown recluse spiders are found in Kansas. They hide in undisturbed spots like boxes, closets and basements. If you're bitten and concerned, contact a medical professional. For control, regular treatment and reducing clutter work together; recluse problems usually take ongoing service.
The 30-day window. If undue activity continues in the treated/offending area within 30 days of service, one touch-up to that area may be provided.
Questions about spiders
Are most house spiders dangerous?
Most spiders in Wichita homes are a nuisance, not a danger. Brown recluse and black widows are the two to take seriously.
Will spiders come back?
Some will wander in, especially in fall. Regular service keeps their numbers and their food supply down.
Do you treat inside and outside?
Yes. Most spider control happens outside and at entry points, with inside treatment where you're seeing them.
